As a master barber, I've been taking care of my clients for a number of years. I took a break for several years after running my own shop for 20+ years.
In 2012, I decided that my passion for barbering was what I wanted to go back to, so I started cutting hair in a shop downtown but my desire was to open my own shop again. Starting April 1, 2013, I went from downtown to midtown, opening my own shop. The shop is located off 40th and Randolph on the beautiful tree lined H St. Being in central Lincoln was the idea for Midtown Barbershop, your hometown, traditional barbershop. I wanted to combine my experience and my personality into the shop. A little Husker, a little country, NASCAR, hunting and barber shop history AND, it’s all about customer service. Included with every haircut is a shampoo, neck shave. Beard/mustache trims with faceshaves and headshaves also available. A good old Western on the TV and something interesting is always playing on the stereo, all leading to a relaxing experience. I enjoy giving all my customers a great experience in the shop and looking good when you leave. Everyone is so busy that it's good to give yourself some pampering. I have been a licensed barber since 1982, graduating from the College of Professional Arts LTD in Omaha NE. I've been married to my wife, Patty, for 39 years and we have two adult children and 3 grand children that are a joy. I enjoy working in the yard, camping, bow hunting & fishing, Husker football and NASCAR. |
