A little history on the barber chair in the shop. It was manufactured in 1913 by Theo A Kochs and came from a shop in the Black Hills of South Dakota. It is all original. The shop has been updated with tin ceiling, antiqued cabinets and workstation, barnwood wainscot and a fresh coat of paint.

Midtown Barber Shop
Bringing Back Great Customer Service Do you think a haircut at a chain store is the only option? Let me share with you a better option! The old-style barber shop is making a comeback with a modern twist right here in Lincoln NE at Midtown Barber Shop. Dave is a master barber with 25 years of experience offering a personal touch to a man's haircut. Along with great haircuts, he is pioneering the return of the old-fashioned, hot towel straight razor shave.
A proper shave, with a straight razor, is something of a lost art. Disposable and electric razors practically sealed the fate of the straight razor shave. You might think that the barber shop shave and a haircut has been replaced by a quick trip to a chain store or a DIY shearing. At Midtown Barbershop it is more than rushed service with someone's name you read on a name tag. Some guys have never had the treatment of a straight edge razor shave. It means sitting in a barber chair, having your face blanketed with hot towels, getting lathered up, and letting a skilled craftsmen do what they do best! Guys it’s time to start bringing back a time honored tradition. One that leaves you feeling like a million bucks! Join in on the excitement at Midtown Barbershop in Lincoln where a great haircut and a relaxing shave is the perfect way for a guy to be pampered. Haircuts & Straight Razor Face Shaves
